Hut Yoga Marrickville Case Study

Hut Yoga Marrickville is a new neighbourhood yoga studio at Hut 44, Addison Road Community Centre. Founder Frank Pineiro teaches six weekly classes: slow flow, vinyasa and yin. It is for people in Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Stanmore and nearby Inner West suburbs. All levels are welcome. Couples can share a pass.

It is a small, single-location studio. One room. A timetable you can keep. Not a chain, and not a warehouse gym.

Frank set CoreBookings up a few weeks before the first classes, so neighbours could book from the website and the Client App before opening day.

The problem

The schedule widget on the website showed the current week. With nothing on the mat until opening, the timetable looked empty. Visitors could easily think nothing was happening.

The location filter added more noise. Hut Yoga has one room. A dropdown for other locations is a question nobody needed to answer.

The solution

We changed the schedule widget so it jumps to the next available class. If this week is empty, students see the first bookable session instead of a blank week.

We also hide the location filter when a business has only one location. Single-room studios get a cleaner embed.

Both changes shipped for Hut Yoga and are now available to other CoreBookings studios in the same situation.

The result

• The website timetable shows the next class, even before opening week
• No location dropdown on a one-room studio
• A booking page that looks open, not unused
• The same behaviour for other single-location CoreBookings sites

For a new Inner West studio, that is the difference between a site that looks closed and a site that is ready to take the first booking.
